Greek tourism recently came under the spotlight in Japan<.> with the release of a second four-page supplement focusing on the latest developments in the sector.

The July supplement, titled Hellenic News, was included in the Japanese business travel magazine Travel Journal. It referred to the Greek development ministry`s tourism policy and measures. The publication also mentioned the Japanese-directed play The Greeks, which is to be performed in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya in September and October, as well as the Athens festival and the ancient Epidavros theatre.

Targeting independent Japanese travellers and businessmen, it includes useful information and suggests journeying through Greece by train.
