Dream Cruises announces summer 2018 itineraries for World Dream

World Dream will immerse guests in a holiday experience boasting world-class entertainment, the largest Eastern and Western Spa and VR game zone at sea, 35 restaurant and bar concepts, a host of enrichment programs and more.

Hong Kong – Dream Cruises has announced the summer deployment schedule for World Dream, the newest member of “Asia’s Luxury Cruise Line”. Due to popular demand, the 5-night “Journey to the Island Gems of Japan” returns this summer with calls to the picturesque islands of Okinawa, Japan. Naha, the capital city of Okinawa, and Miyakojima, the scenic island where the colour “Miyako Blue” was coined, are the ports of choice for this year’s summer season.

Mr. Thatcher Brown, President of Dream Cruises, said, “We are excited to bring World Dream, our newest cruise ship, to the beautiful islands of Okinawa, where Dream Cruises first launched sister ship Genting Dream’s summer season last year. Our guests gave us resounding positive feedback on the design of our 5 night Japan summer itinerary with the welcome balance of two signature Okinawa ports combined with two leisurely days at sea. We are glad to be returning to cultural attractions and natural beauty of Okinawa.  We continue to listen to our guests and improve how we deliver ‘Dream’ vacation experiences with value, luxury and the best of destinations.”

From 1 April to 30 November 2018, guests can enjoy a journey to the islands of Okinawa. World Dream will immerse guests in a holiday experience boasting world-class entertainment, the largest Eastern and Western Spa and VR game zone at sea, 35 restaurant and bar concepts, a host of enrichment programs and more.

With its wide selection of connecting rooms, on-board amenities and dining options, World Dream offers the ideal vacation lifestyle for multi-generational families that wish to enjoy a fun-filled vacation together. Young cruisers will thrive in Little Dreamers Program, Dream Cruises’ signature children program with year-round activities such as arts and crafts, family stargazing workshops and junior chef training for kids aged 2-12; for mature guests who are constantly yearning to expand their horizons, the Ageless Dreamers program will give them the perfect opportunity to learn something new during their journey at sea, such as Tai Chi, floral arrangement and more.

The cruise to Japan ends on a sweet note with “Dream Night”, the grand finale to every 5-night cruise journey, where World Dream showcases Asia’s first ever laser and fireworks display at sea – a visual spectacular of fireworks display and 3D laser optical effects, with the perfect synchronization of live music and dance.

5-Night “Journey to the Island Gems of Japan”
Naha, Okinawa

naha
Once a thriving port city and the prosperous capital of the Ryukyu Kingdom, Naha retains much of its original energy and bustle. Today, the city is the cultural and economic hub of Okinawa. With trade routes from the outer port of Shuri to China and Southeast Asia, Naha has been exposed to a variety of cultures, developing a unique Ryukyu identity. These influences remain very much alive in its food and architecture.

Miyakojima, Okinawa

Miyakojima
Ranked as the fourth largest island in Okinawa prefecture, Miyakojima is well known for its pristine clear waters and long coastline. Guests can enjoy a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city with outdoor activities such as snorkelling and swimming; for those who prefer a gastronomic experience, a scrumptious feast of Miyako beef and desserts seasoned with Yukisio sea salt will be the best way to appreciate the island’s local produce.
