Davies Tanner, the PR Week 150 Travel & Tourism Agency, has launched a dedicated digital agency designed to provide online communications for clients within the global travel and tourism sector.

Electric Suitcase will specialise in providing digital and social media strategy solely for the tourism, events and business travel industries. The agency will create business-focused campaigns, and will help clients connect to customers & stakeholders through online thought leadership and engagement through social media.

The new agency has several clients at launch, including De Vere Venues, Tourism Ireland and Audi Quattro Rooms. Managing Director James Allen has delivered campaigns for a number of tourism clients including, Virgin, Marriott, Gleneagles and Page & Moy, and has advised tourist boards and governments for destinations including Sydney, Chicago, California, Jamaica, the Maldives, Jersey, Ireland and Valencia.

James said: “Our intention for Electric Suitcase is that it becomes the number one digital agency within travel and tourism, building on the experience, market knowledge and pedigree of Davies Tanner. We have extensive experience in digital and social media but, much more importantly, we have a deep knowledge of the tourism, events and business tourism industries. This means clients can be confident that we have the expertise to speak with their voice online, and that we can create award winning strategies through an understanding of their business goals and position in the industry.
