Datalex delivers another e-Interline success for airlines

Datalex has delivered e-interlining shopping and reservations for Midwest Airlines at frontierairlines.com using the Datalex Travel Distribution Platform. Customers can now seamlessly shop and reserve both Frontier and Midwest flights in support of codeshare agreements, providing customers with an enhanced booking experience and greater choice and service in just one quick and easy transaction.

The maturity of the Travel Distribution Platform and efficient delivery of the solution ensures that Frontier Airlines can effortlessly extend this e-interline product to partner airlines on a reciprocal basis. In 2008, Datalex delivered its e-interlining solution to Aer Lingus which enabled shopping and reservations on JetBlue’s 40 plus domestic destinations at aerlingus.com.

Datalex continues to partner with Frontier Airlines to deliver new enhanced fare merchandising functionality on www.frontierairlines.com, Datalex’s Travel Distribution Platform enabled Frontier Airlines to launch its AirFairs in December, 2008 – just 6 months after the initial engagement with Datalex. The fare merchandising solution has been an enormous success for Frontier Airlines, driving revenues and delivering increased content and choice to online consumers.

Commenting on the latest TDP feature delivery, Datalex CEO Cormac Whelan said: “Frontier Airlines is a dynamic and progressive airline with a powerful vision for online distribution strategies. Datalex is committed to its partnership with Frontier and we are confident that we can continue to deliver on Frontier’s vision for increased content, choice and service to the customer through TDP, driving the profitability of their direct channel.”
