Continental Airlines is to increase its nonstop service between Hong Kong and New York from four times a week to fives times a week effective December 8, 2003.

In addition, Continental Airlines will also increase its frequency to six times a week during the peak Christmas period. With solid booking levels recorded in the third quarter 2003, Continental anticipates demand will continue to increase over the fourth quarter and during the holiday Christmas season.

Continental is the only airline offering a nonstop service to New York saving at least four hours of flying and stopover time. Strong demand from business and leisure travelers both from Hong Kong and New York has enabled us to increase our weekly schedule, said Mark Erwin, President of Continental Airlines-Asia/Pacific Division.

In addition, as China relaxes its single travelers` policy to Hong Kong, we continue to work closely with travel agencies in Hong Kong and Southern China as US travel continues to pick up, added Kenneth Yeung, Country Director of Hong Kong and China of Continental Airlines.

Continental is offering travelers a special fare to the US and Canada to celebrate the Christmas festivities, flying on the only nonstop direct flight to New York from HK6,900; to Toronto from HK$6,400 and other North American cities from HK$7,200 and enjoy a free stopover in New York. No surcharge is required for traveling on a weekend. Tickets are valid for 30 days from the date of departure, plus new members enrolling in OnePass will receive 5,000 bonus miles.
