China Southern Airlines<.> announced that it has met its goal of 500,000 members in its frequent flyer program, The Sky Pearl Club.

The airline had pledged to reach 500,000 members by the close of 2001 and met this goal on July 26, 2001.

China Southern Airlines continues to report that more than 20,000 customers are signing up to its Sky Pearl Club Frequent Flyer Program each month.

We are very grateful and humbled by our faithful passengers and the trust they have placed in our Sky Pearl Club, said Mr. Li Kun, Vice President of China Southern Airlines.
