The 2003 China International Tourism Fair is to be held in Kunming, capital of southwest China`s Yunnan Province, from November 20 to 23, the local tourism bureau announced Wednesday.
Luo Mingyi, bureau director, said the fair would play an important role in reviving tourism in the province and the country.
Yunnan, with plentiful tourism resources, will promote two namebrand tourism routes at the fair.
The China International Tourism Fair, initiated in 1998, is thelargest of its kind in the Asia-Pacific area.
