Celebrate National Children’s Day with a blast of fun in “The iconic children’s playground at Iconsiam”

Iconsiam invites little ones to join the Children’s Day celebration in “The iconic children’s playground at Iconsiam” under “The Smurfs 60th Anniversary” theme.

To put a smile on youngsters’ faces on the upcoming Children’s Day, Iconsiam has prepared “The iconic children’s playground at Iconsiam as a special celebration from January 9 to 13, 2019, at ICONSIAM on Charoen Nakorn Road. A troop of Smurfs will fly directly from Belgium to celebrate “The Smurfs 60th Anniversary”. Kids will meet the world’s first four-meter-high Smurf in loincloth and join many fun-filled activities such as Smurfs Painting and the first Smurfs Parade in Thailand. In the imagination-enhancing activity, they will paint Bangkok into a dream city with digital art technology. Last but not least, they can join learning activities and special courses from leading extra-curricular institutes that offer irresistible promotion.

Mr. Supoj Chaiwatsirikul, Managing Director of Iconsiam Ltd., said, “The National Children’s Day emphasizes the importance of children, who are invaluable resources of our country and the key drivers to sustainably develop the nation and bring prosperity. ICONSIAM will therefore host a big event as a gift for them so that they can spend time with their families, join entertaining and educational activities hosted by ICONSIAM and shops throughout five days.”

Iconsiam invites little ones to join the Children’s Day celebration in “The iconic children’s playground at Iconsiam” under “The Smurfs 60th Anniversary” theme. Blue cartoon characters Smurfs from Belgium will travel across the ocean to meet Thai fans and colour up the event with their parade. They will also welcome children to their village in “Little World of Smurfs” where kids will meet adorable Smurf family namely the oldest member Papa Smurf, the only lady member Smurfette, smart Brainy Smurf and many more. Standing tall in front of Smurfs Village to welcome the visitors, the first art installation in Thailand “Giant Smurf”, who is four meters high, is dressed in white silk loincloth specially made for him and holds a flower garland in his hand. For the first time, every family member can become one of the Smurfs in an adorable costume and receive a souvenir. At Charoen Nakorn Hall on M floor, several educational institutes will host workshops that teach children to create their own masterpieces such as painting or shaping dough or Korean clay, which can be taken back home as a souvenir. 

Kids will have fun with imagination-enhancing activities. They can paint the town with digital art technology and turn Bangkok into a wonderful dream city at Kid Avenue on the 5th floor. At Rasada Hall on the 1st floor, students of many extra-curricular institutes will take a turn expressing their talent in stage performances. On January 12 and 13, 2019, children who seek the thrill will enjoy “Happy kids happy experience by millennium auto”, which will offer fun and safe driving experience. They can drive a small electric vehicle on a race track and learn traffic signages in front of BMW showroom, Wattana Hall, on the 3rd floor of Iconsiam.
