Carlson Hotels receives 2011 JDA Real Results Awards

Carlson announced it has been recognized as a JDA Software Group, Inc. 2011 Real Results Winner for Best in Pricing and Revenue Management. Now in its sixth year, the Real Results Awards recognize companies that have demonstrated business-process excellence and achieved quantifiable benefits through the adoption of industry best practices and use of JDA’s industry-leading solutions and services.

“The rate optimization tool, Stay-Night Automated Pricing (SNAP), we’ve developed with JDA is having a measurable impact on our RevPAR index performance when it is used consistently,” said Frederic Deschamps, vice president, Global Revenue Generation, Carlson Hotels.

The SNAP continuously updates a number of historical variables as well as an inventory of publicly available competitive prices to recommend revenue-optimizing rates for hotels.
