Boutique Hospitality Management Asia launches new investment services business line

Selling or acquiring hotels, resorts or serviced apartments on behalf of clients needs specialised skill sets.  BHMAsia offers new brokerage service.

BANGKOK – Boutique Hospitality Management Asia (BHMAsia) has established an investment team to handle the sales and acquisitions of hotels and resorts on behalf of clients. The company has engaged Keith Humphreys, FRICS, to handle all such investment matters as he has extensive hotel investment and hospitality consultancy experience throughout Asia.

Operating throughout the region, the team will work with owners and prospective purchasers in disposing and acquiring hotels and resorts, plus other hospitality assets such as serviced apartments, golf courses and so on. The team is able to advise owners and purchasers on sales or acquisition strategies, help create value in hospitality assets and work with clients to ensure the most effective steps are taken to maximise sales prices or returns.

“We have been regularly approached to handle the disposal of hospitality assets and are, therefore, taking the opportunity to offer formal investment services to our existing and new clients. Additionally, with the increased interest in acquiring hotel properties in SE Asia from Chinese investors, we have also been approached to help clients in the identification and acquisition process,” said Mr. Anthony McDonald, CEO of BHMAsia.

Having been based in Asia for just over three decades, Keith has handled assignments in all of the main Asian countries (such as The PRC, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, Singapore, India, Pakistan and so on) plus in most of the major resort destinations within Asia (such as Phuket, Samui, Bali, plus many of the Vietnamese coastal areas) and farther afield in destinations such as The Maldives, The Seychelles and Palau. In addition, he has worked on projects in Australia and the USA.
