Guestline is proud to support B2 Hotels’ continued expansion

Guestline is delighted to continue partnering with one ofThailand’s largest hotel chains.

When leading hotel chain B2 Hotels selected Guestline as a key technology partner in 2016, little did anyone know the challenges the industry would face over the coming years. However, six years on, not only has the boutique hotel group significantly increased its foothold in the Thai market, but its planned expansion shows no sign of slowing down. In addition, their partnership with Guestline, a market leader in cloud-based hospitality technology, has gone from strength to strength, with Guestline‘s solutions key to B2’s future plans.

Why Guestline

With expansion at the heart of their strategy, a cloud-based solution was crucial in B2 Hotels’ selection of a technology partner. Highly scalable, cloud-based technology not only supported their planned growth, but also provided the ability to log on to the system from anywhere and from any device, with location presenting no barrier, key when overseeing a chain of its size. It also allowed for full visibility of the group’s performance from one login. Guestline, having the foresight to migrate its solutions to the cloud back in 2003, has established itself as a pioneer of cloud-based technology. Over the last 20 years, it has listened to the feedback of over 3000 customers across 25 countries worldwide to design and develop solutions to meet the needs and challenges of today’s hoteliers. This, combined with a strong local team in the APAC region, has seen Guestline work in partnership with B2 Hotels over the last few years to deliver a technology suite with global capabilities but adapted to the needs of the local market. In addition, the accessible, local-based support that Guestline provides has been key to the relationship’s success.

Supporting growth plans

Since the partnership launched, B2 Hotels has expanded its presence in Thailand, increasing its portfolio from 33 to 58 hotels in locations including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Hua Hin, Krabi, and many other key cities in Thailand. With the Guestline PMS, RezLynx, installed in all properties and a consolidated CRS and rate management platform supporting 40 of its hotels.

Guestline technology has enabled the hotel chain to streamline operational efficiencies and manage all of its portfolio from its head office in Chiang Mai. And with a growth target set at 100 hotels, the requirement for a highly accessible system combined with groupwide visibility as to performance looks only to grow in importance for B2.

Mr. Niran Chawla, CEO B2 Hotels, is confident that the Guestline partnership is perfect for supporting their expansion plans. ‘Having Guestline as one of our local technology partners has helped facilitate and accommodate our growth and aspirations of reaching 100 hotels.’

And the Guestline team in APAC, led by Matthew Emptage, Country Manager, Thailand, is delighted to enjoy such a close relationship with Mr. Chawla and the B2 team. ‘Partnering with B2 Hotels and having a close relationship with their CEO, Niran Chawla, has enabled Guestline APAC to bring our cloud-based PMS to the mass boutique market. B2 Hotels continue to be a key partner for us. With ongoing development and enhancements of our cloud platforms, we have been able to futureproof the group’s success and look forward to supporting their future growth in Thailand.’
