The first hostel will open in Kemang, one of Jakarta's most iconic districts for both day and night entertainment.

JAKARTA, Indonesia - Archipelago International, a leading Indonesia-based hospitality management company, announced the launch of its latest venture, Nomad Hostel - a new brand that provides budget-oriented, dormitory-style shared rooms and bathrooms as well as convivial communal facilities such as a lounge, restaurant, laundry facilities, and high-speed Wi-Fi.

Nomad Hostels is the first wholly budget brand from Archipelago International, joining the groups' other segments, including the select-service favehotel and Hotel NEO, the economy Quest Hotel and Harper, and the upscale Aston, Alana, Aston Heritage Collection, and Kamuela.

Nomad Hostel is described as "the smart solution for travelers seeking stylish and comfortable yet ultra-affordable accommodation". Each hostel will feature a unique design with professional services, whilst some will also provide additional extras, like multifunctional spaces with connecting games rooms, vending machines, coin-operated laundry facilities and a public coffee shop where guests can relax in outdoor seating areas.

The first hostel will open in Kemang, one of Jakarta's most iconic districts for both day and night entertainment. Named Nomad Hostel - Kemang, the brand-new hostel will have 14 rooms, 4 room types, and 192 beds. The hostel will also feature common rooms with table tennis, billiards and a lounge, as well as a coffee shop & bar, a basketball court and a Jacuzzi. The inaugural hostel opens on 8 August 2018.

President and CEO for Archipelago International, John Flood said, "We are extremely excited to be breaking new grounds with the launch of Nomad Hostel. Not only will Archipelago International be embarking on an entirely new venture, we'll also be increasing our international presence with our sights set on the overseas market in the future. This is a great milestone in the company's history and we look forward to developing this new chapter even further."
