THAI Catering Restaurant in Phuket opens with new look

THAI Catering emphasizes expansion of distribution channels and providing services in the domestic and international markets, in order to increase competitiveness and boost profitability.

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) opened the THAI Catering Restaurant in Phuket, which has been redesigned with a new look.  Mr. Phakkaphong Tavipatana, Phuket Governor, and Mr. Sumeth Damrongchaitham, THAI President, presided over the opening ceremony, which was attended by Mr. Thanee Chuangchoo, General Manager of Phuket International Airport, Mr. Wiwat Piyawiroj, THAI Executive Vice President, Commercial, Mrs. Varangkana Luerojvong, THAI Managing Director, Catering, and THAI Catering staff at the THAI Catering Restaurant, Phuket International Airport.

Mrs. Varangkana Luerojvong, THAI Managing Director, Catering, said that in accordance to the company strategy and business plan, THAI Catering emphasizes expansion of distribution channels and providing services in the domestic and international markets, in order to increase competitiveness and boost profitability.  By maintaining service excellence, THAI Catering is able to continue to create customer satisfaction and make THAI Catering prominent in these markets.  The THAI Catering Restaurant is a service-related business that has long served THAI customers. There are four THAI Catering Restaurants in Thailand: Yellow Orchid at the THAI Operations Center at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Chiang Mai International Airport, Phuket International Airport, and Krabi International Airport.

The new look and feel of the THAI Catering Restaurant reflects the Thai identity with a modern twist, creating meals produced from fresh raw ingredients that are prepared with care based on original recipes that are well known from each Thai region.  Popular menus that are available at the THAI Catering Restaurant in Phuket are: Khanom Jeen Namya Pu Bai Chaplu, Khao Pad Naam Prik Kung Siap, Khao Na Kua Kling Kradook-Aon Moo, Khao Na Moo Hong, Khao Pad Naam Prik Long Rua Pla Foo, Kaeng Tai Pla Phuket, Kaeng Luang Pla Krapong Nawmai Dong, Hoo Sae Salad Phuket, Bak Kut Teh, Pad Mee Hokien, and Luk Chin Pla Luak Jim. Thai beverages and desserts are also available, such as: Rainbow Sherbet made from Tamarind Tea and Butterfly Pea with Lime, THAI Catering’s most popular beverages.  THAI Catering aims to make Thai food and Thai Southern cuisine more widely known amongst Thai and international tourists.  The THAI Catering Restaurant in Phuket will be used as a prototype for the further development of its other restaurants in the future.
