Best Western Plus Oceanside Kawana in Queensland

Best Western’s winning properties came from all over Australia and New Zealand, from Karratha to Rotorua, Airlie Beach to Melbourne.

In a strong result for Best Western Hotels and Resorts, 50 of its properties in Australia and New Zealand have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor for 2018.

The prestigious Certificate of Excellence celebrates businesses that have achieved excellent traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year and been consistently been rated four stars or more by satisfied guests.

Best Western’s winning properties came from all over Australia and New Zealand, from Karratha to Rotorua, Airlie Beach to Melbourne.

“It’s a great result – our members work extremely hard to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and we’re really pleased that so many Best Western properties have been recognised,” said Angela Smith, Senior Marketing Manager of Best Western Hotels and Resort Australasia.

Globally, 1,974 Best Western-branded hotels received a 2018 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence recognition, a record result.

It’s the eighth successive year the number of Best Western-branded hotels receiving this honour has increased.

There are currently 115 hotels, apartments and resorts operating under the Best Western brand in Australasia – all independently owned and managed, and all committed to the common worldwide standards of quality, service and value.

Every Best Western property in Australia and New Zealand offers free high-speed internet, healthy breakfasts and the ability to earn or redeem Best Western Rewards points.
