HRS launches new office in Bangalore and appoints new Managing Director for HRS India

Along with the set up of Bangalore office, HRS announces to promote Mr. Santosh Kumar to the Managing Director India, who was previously the Director of Corporate Solutions of HRS India.

NEW DELHI – HRS, the world’s leading end-to-end hotel solutions provider announces the launch of a new office in Bangalore and the appointment of the Managing Director of HRS India. As the fastest growing economy in the world, the business travel segment in India has developed significantly in recent years and is now among the world’s top 10 business travel markets. The new office in Bangalore and growing team are two strategic steps for the business expansion of HRS in India.

Known as the capital of India’s southern Karnataka state, Bangalore is also famous for its high-tech industry. The city shares an important part of the economy of India with its success in leading the growth of Information Technology (IT) of the country. This fact has attracted a great number of both domestic and international high-tech companies, as well as startups, to set up branches in Bangalore. And as a result, the city has been built into a business travel destination. The Bangalore office will function as an important part of HRS India to further provide hotel solutions and services to HRS clients.

Along with the set up of Bangalore office, HRS announces to promote Mr. Santosh Kumar to the Managing Director India, who was previously the Director of Corporate Solutions of HRS India. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and the Indian School of Business, Mr. Kumar has a rich experience in business development and partnership management in the business travel industry. “We are thrilled to promote Santosh into an increased leadership role. HRS is also focused on the supply side of significantly increasing the overall hotel coverage across all categories in Tier 1 to Tier 3 cities.

Bangalore office is the third office HRS has launched in India after another two in Mumbai and New Delhi respectively.
