Changes in management at Stenden Thailand

As per 1st of February 2018, Jens Dallmann, currently senior lecturer at Stenden Thailand, will take over Sandy’s role and responsibilities.

Stenden Thailand will bid farewell to Academic Dean, Mrs Sandy Loup, who will be leaving Thailand at the end of January after 4.5 years of dedicated efforts. The company announced the appointment of Mr. Jens Dallmann as the new Academic Dean and Campus Site Manager of the Stenden Thailand campus at Panyapiwat Institute of Management.

Sandy has been the key figure on repositioning the Stenden Thailand campus as a centre for expertise for visiting exchange students from the other Stenden campuses in the Netherlands, Qatar, Bali and South Africa. Especially her efforts in teaming up with a new local partner, Panyapiwat Institute of Management, in 2016 have led to a solid foundation for future operations of the Stenden Thailand campus. In addition, Sandy’s full commitment to a real world learning and constant linking of industry and students is a major achievement of her time in Thailand. Sandy: “Although there are mixed feelings now that I will be leaving I am also excited for my next challenges and look forward to work with the International Affairs team, contributing to the Internationalisation activities for NHL Stenden, the Netherlands. Looking back, I would like to share my deep appreciation for all the amazing people that I have worked with over the past years: PIM colleagues, the many industry contacts, and of course the wonderful team members of Stenden Thailand!”

As per 1st of February 2018, Jens Dallmann, currently senior lecturer at Stenden Thailand, will take over Sandy’s role and responsibilities. After over seven years with Stenden, Jens has been involved in all programmes currently offered and has been leading in developing recently introduced programmes. “Stenden Thailand can rely on a solid foundation with PIM as a strong local partner and network, excellent academics and popularity amongst Grand Tour students. The maintenance and development of Stenden Thailand’s current position in the short-term, as well as the striving for introducing degree programmes in the long-term, are key objectives for Stenden Thailand and I look forward being part of this exciting endeavour.”
