Marriott International expands its footprint in India With the opening of Fairfield by Marriott, Indore

Fairfield by Marriott is fast gaining popularity in Asia and India since its launch in the region in 2013.

INDORE, INDIA – Marriott International, Inc announced the opening of its brand new hotel in the city – Fairfield by Marriott, Indore. This is the seventh property to open under the Fairfield by Marriott brand in India and is within reach to the iconic 18th-centuray Rajwada royal residence, the ornately decorated Lal Baag Palace and the Indore Museum, offering endless options for both business and leisure travelers.

Fairfield by Marriott is fast gaining popularity in Asia and India since its launch in the region in 2013. The brand is an established leader in the moderate-tier segment catering to the needs of India’s next generation traveler, who is looking to be productive stress-free stay whilst on the road. It is known for its well-designed rooms, reliable service and exceptional value.

Speaking at the launch, Neeraj Govil, Market Vice-President, South Asia of Marriott International Inc. said, “Tourism in India is growing at a very fast pace with a lot of focus being generated towards tier-two markets. We believe the timing is right and therefore ideal for our expansion and we’re confident that the entry of Fairfield by Marriott into this market will continue to strengthen our brand presence across India by attracting a large number of tourists and business travelers familiar with this international brand.

Located in the business hub of Indore, The Fairfield by Marriott, Indore offers 106 guest rooms, banqueting and meeting room facilities with modern technology, a well-equipped business center and a state of the art fitness center. The hotel has an all-day dining restaurant – Kava, which features both authentic Indian and Western cuisine, buffet and a la carte options. Kava Bar, a modern mood bar and lounge that serves cocktails, mocktails and fine spirits. The hotel also offers guests The Market, a 24/7 food and beverage convenience store for those who want to grab a lite bite on the go.

The property’s contemporary design tastefully uses indigenous stone, wood and textiles throughout the hotel set to an uplifting decor palette, which draws inspiration from the rich colors of Indian embroidered textiles and vibrant local culture.
