Andaz Singapore announces the Andaz Collection

Through this collaboration, Andaz Singapore hopes to inspire a "transformation of thought" – by revolutionising all associate's outfit choices into an expression of their individuality, where they can have their personal styles represented in their own way.

SINGAPORE – Set to open in October 2017, Andaz Singapore is proud to announce the “Andaz Collection“, a curated capsule of looks for Andaz Singapore’s associates, by home-grown fashion label, In Good Company. The brand is known for its artistic collaborations and neo-modern style of minimalist clothing and signature handcrafted accessories. Together with In Good Company, Andaz Singapore and its architect of The Upper House fame, Andre Fu, have handpicked and curated the collection of contemporary and style-forward looks for Andaz Singapore’s associates which includes modern, clean-cut dresses, shirts, and pants, and accessories inspired by modern art compositions.

Situated at the crossroads of the Kampong Glam, Little India and Bras Basah Bugis cultural districts, with their intimate shop-house-filled alleyways and atmospheric colours, textures and flavours – Andaz Singapore draws direct inspiration from the locale’s history, culture and architecture to offer fresh perspectives on a luxury hotel experience. The Andaz name meaning “personal style” in Hindi – encapsulates the very essence of the brand’s driving philosophy that celebrates, respects and caters to guests’ and associates’ personal styles with an atmosphere that fully embraces its vibrant district.

The Andaz Collection
To allow guests to fully experience and immerse in Singapore’s eclectic culture, Andaz Singapore strongly believes in local partnerships with Singaporean movers and shakers, a component that enhances the hotel’s localised experience. Staying true to the brand’s beliefs, Andaz Singapore and In Good Company have pieced together the “Andaz Collection“, a capsule of fashion looks curated for the associates of the hotel. By curating a collection with In Good Company, Andaz Singapore applies the same philosophy of celebrating every individual’s personal style to its own associates, with the flexibility of choosing and matching their own outfits from the ready-to-wear Andaz collection.

Through this collaboration, Andaz Singapore hopes to inspire a “transformation of thought” – by revolutionising all associate’s outfit choices into an expression of their individuality, where they can have their personal styles represented in their own way. The hotel also aims to create a sense of comfort and freedom, bridging the gap between fashion and function, and yet creating a look that resonates with the Andaz brand. An associate comfortable in their own skin, is one that will translate this level of comfort into their service and actions, which would allow hotel guests to live true to their own personal styles when at Andaz Singapore.

In Good Company has been on the fashion scene since December 2012 and opened their first flagship boutique at ION Orchard in 2015. The characteristically modern label, known for its contemporary classics and wardrobe essentials shares similar brand philosophy and values with Andaz, creating a synergy that translates into the specially curated Andaz Collection. At In Good Company, their associates are also encouraged to express their own personal style with the freedom to pick their outfits from all pre-launch collections.
