CLIA Australasia's Masters Conference to cruise on Genting Dream

Angelos Restanis - 12 September 2017, 00:16

The conference will commence in Hong Kong on 16th September, with agents enjoying one-night pre-cruise accommodation, before boarding Genting Dream for a five-night cruise to Japan with port calls at Naha and Miyakojmia.

This Saturday September 16th, 29 travel agents from across Australia and New Zealand will set sail on Dream Cruises Genting Dream for Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia's 2017 Masters Conference.

Designed for travel agents who aspire to the highest level of cruise industry accreditation, the annual Masters Conference combines intensive training sessions with a firsthand cruise experience.

"With cruise holidays enjoying an all-time high in popularity around the world, it's more important than ever to ensure that travel agents are provided with the best possible training," said Joel Katz, Managing Director CLIA Australasia & Asia. "The opportunity to sail on one of the most exciting new luxury ships should make this year's Masters Conference particularly memorable."

The conference will commence in Hong Kong on 16th September, with agents enjoying one-night pre-cruise accommodation, before boarding Genting Dream for a five-night cruise to Japan with port calls at Naha and Miyakojmia.

Returning to oversee the 19th Masters Conference is US-based travel industry trainer, business coach and motivational speaker Scott Koepf. Scott will lead the conference sessions, which are designed to help travel agents advance their sales and marketing skills to selling cruise holidays. Additionally, Thatcher Brown, President of Dream Cruise, will deliver a keynote presentation.

Agents who successfully complete a comprehensive post-conference work-based assignment will attain the elite Master Cruise Consultant accreditation – a prestigious rank for travel consultants.

Genting Dream, Dream Cruises inaugural luxury cruise ship, features authentic Asian hospitality combined with the finest experiences from around the world. The cruise ship also boasts more than 35 restaurant & bar concepts, including scenic alfresco dining, the Zouk Beach Club, bars, live production shows, a bowling alley, rope course and rock climbing wall, as well as the most comprehensive Beauty and Wellness centre at sea—over 4,000 square metres encompassing Western, Asian, and Medical Spas.

CLIA also recognises their Executive Partner the Hong Kong Tourism Board, who are supporting this year's Master Conference.
