Norm has been appointed to the Government’s Tourism Infrastructure Fund panel, responsible for assessing proposals and recommending a package of infrastructure projects that best aligns with the Government’s priorities for the fund.

Kerry says: “Norm began his three year term on the Board of Tourism New Zealand in April 2014. His contribution has been significant and the knowledge that he brought to the table invaluable.”

“We wish to thank Norm for his contribution and acknowledge the expertise that he will bring to the Tourism Investment Fund panel,” says Kerry.

Prominent arts patron and entrepreneur Chris Parkin owned the Museum Art Hotel in Wellington for 22 years, over which time it became the home of one of New Zealand’s finest collections of art. He was made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to the arts and business in 2011.
