Tigerair launches new winter menu

Featuring return of popular runway favourites plus numerous new additions providing more value and choice than ever before.

With winter setting in, Tigerair Australia has launched its new Tiger Bites seasonal inflight menu featuring the return of popular year round favourites as well as a number of new additions to cater for every budget and taste.

Tigerair Australia Head of Communications Vanessa Regan says the new menu is designed as always, with value and choice in mind.

“The theme is “Street Eats At 30,000 Feet” and offers more hot and cold menu items than ever before, at the same time, catering for a broad range of dietary preferences including gluten free, and vegan.

“If you pre-order before you fly, you have the added advantage of being served first onboard and an exciting range of new hot meal options like thai-grr green curry, butter chicken, Pete’s penne and meatballs, roasted vegetable pie with spinach and ricotta roll, marg-high-rita pizza, as well as the rise and shine hot breakfast consisting of homemade beans, hash brown, scrambled eggs and bacon.  Pre order meals start from just $11 and include a non-alcoholic drink of choice.

“Popular favourites like the jumbo all day turkish and the savoury pastry pack remain on the menu due to popular demand along with numerous new additions like the toasted meatball sub, veggie pastry pack, airy apple clouds mini apple pies, bite size chicken and chips and the fancy chicken sanga.

“For chocolate and sweet lovers there’s plenty to sweeten up your day and a great range of gluten free items from Australia’s queen of gluten-free – Rowie’s.”

The new winter menu is available now on all Tigerair services and continues to provide an extensive choice of hot and cold beverages, soft drinks as well as a range of wine, beer, cider and mixers.

A range of fun merchandise, gifts, kids packs and cozy kits including blankets and pillows are also available for purchase.

“As a low cost airline, all of our menu and merchandise items are available at great value prices from light snacks to more hearty meals so there is something for everyone to keep those hunger pangs at bay before you reach your destination. Plus if you spend $15 inflight you can save $5 on selected Tiger Shop merchandise offerings.”
