Boutique hotels in across Asia are growing in popularity with their unique offerings and authentic destination experiences.

SINGAPORE – Five hotels have been revealed as Singapore’s ultimate hotel hotspots, according to the Hotels.com Loved by Guests Awards 2017, where hotel guests are the real judges. This year’s results also crowned a new Gold winner from Singapore Hotel Vagabond, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, the first boutique hotel to be featured on the list.

Hotel Vagabond, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is a boutique art hotel housed in a 1950s heritage Art Deco building. Walking into the dimly lit lobby of Hotel Vagabond feels like a tour in a French art museum with the display of artefacts such as a golden elephant and rhinoceros as the hotel’s centrepiece. The first hotel in Asia conceptualised by world-renowned French designer, Jacques Garcia, the establishment is also known to treat their guests like royalty – with handwritten personalised notes, London cabs for transport and High Tea for all guests (included in the cost).
