Mr. Paul Wu, General Manager – Singapore & Oceania, Jet Airways, received the award from Mr. Lee Seow Hiang, Chief Executive Officer, Changi Airport Group, at a ceremony held at St. Regis Singapore recently.
SINGAPORE – Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, won two awards at the recently concluded ‘Changi Airline Awards 2017’. The airline was honoured as the best airline in ‘Absolute Growth in Passenger Carriage – South Asia’ and ‘Absolute Cargo Growth’ categories.
Mr. Paul Wu, General Manager – Singapore & Oceania, Jet Airways, received the award from Mr. Lee Seow Hiang, Chief Executive Officer, Changi Airport Group, at a ceremony held at St. Regis Singapore recently. The awards function was attended by airlines whose efforts over the past year contributed significantly to the growth and development of the Singapore air hub.
Jet Airways was rated the best amongst several top contenders from the world of aviation and added two awards to its existing tally of seven previous awards.
Jayaraj Shanmugam, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways, said “Singapore is a key Eastern gateway for Jet Airways and well connected by direct daily flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru. Our continued investment to grow both capacity and guest comfort on the route via our wide body aircraft is showing excellent results.
