Hua Hin welcomed its largest meeting space

Newly opened 5-star beach resort unveils largest ballroom in Hua Hin with an equally vast array of MICE facilities, signature services and activity programs.

HUA HIN, THAILAND – Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa has unveiled the largest ever Grand Ballroom to grace Thailand’ s royal seaside resort town, offering an impressive indication of the newly opened hotel’ s comprehensive range of MICE facilities and ‘bleisure‘ services.

The expansive, flexile space covers some 900 square metres and can be used for conferences, exhibitions, meetings or celebrations. The full ballroom comfortably accommodates 700 delegates in a theatre configuration or 500 guests for a banquet. The space can also be re-configured to offer up to five smaller meeting or event venues.

Fitted with all the latest tools and technologies for high-tech events and presentations, the unrivalled MICE facilities at Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa occupy a totally independent building with a dedicated entrance and foyer that connects to the main lobby of the contemporary 5-star beach resort. The meeting spaces feature leading-edge technology including digital PA systems, wireless high-speed Internet access, audio-visual equipment and adjustable sound and lighting. The sheer size and scope of the facilities will make Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa a leading location in Thailand for professional meetings, events, and conferences, as well as large-scale weddings and celebrations.

The flexible venues are made all the more appealing thanks to an extensive choice of accommodation options within Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa itself, which includes rooms, suites and luxurious private pool villas. These amenities are further enhanced by world-class cuisine, an expansive high-end spa and creative activity programs that have been carefully designed to suit every event, from small-scale brainstorming sessions to sizeable conferences.

“Our range of resort, beach and town based activities are designed to challenge, motivate and inspire participants to break down barriers, communicate openly and collaborate effectively to achieve results,” explains David Barrett, Consultant, MICE, Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa. “Customized corporate team building activities include the Resort Challenge, which is a scavenger hunt around the grounds, and the Bike A Build Donation, where teams construct a bike and donate to underprivileged children.”

Adding to the variety of activities and accommodation types on offer, the resort also offers an enticing choice of dining venues serving a wide selection of global cuisines. The resort’s all-day dining restaurant, Staa’ s, begins the day well with a continuously changing daily breakfast buffet featuring some 300 items. After a morning session, Aqua poolside eatery serves a choice of pastas, burgers, seafood and Tex-Mex dishes as well as nachos, fajitas and pizza from the oven. Later for dinner, Brezza signature beachfront restaurant delivers fresh seafood with an Italian touch in two pavilions with outdoor dining and a beachside lawn, while the night is made bright at the stylish Blue Biscuit Jazz and Blues Bar, which serves creole specialties to complement the range of top drawer drinks and regular live music performances.

Officially opened on April 1st, Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa is quickly making a name for itself as an oasis of modern beachside elegance away from the hustle of Hua Hin Town. With a fresh, beachside ambience and easy access from Bangkok, the resort’ s location just north of Hua Hin makes it an excellent choice for companies, organizations or individuals looking to hold a successful, memorable event.

“While the accommodation, dining, spa, meeting and events facilities at the resort are second to none, it is our attentive and professional team that really makes the stay with us a special one,” says Nigel Tovey, the resort’ s General Manager. “We do not simply meet, but exceed guests’ expectations, and we work tirelessly as a team to serve every group and individual’s unique hospitality needs.”
