Sichuan Airlines will open a direct flight between Chengdu and Auckland

Sichuan Airlines has been operating safely for nearly 28 years since its establishment. It has the largest Airbus fleet in China, over 120 planes covering more than 240 flight routes.

CHENGDU, China - On June 13, Sichuan Airlineswill open a non-stop flight between Auckland and Chengdu. This route operates three times a week and will be served by A330 aircraft. The flying time is around 13 hours. Flight number from Auckland to Chengdu is 3U8910 and it departs from Auckland at 8:30pm and arrives in Chengdu at 6:00am the next day. Flight number from Chengdu to Auckland is 3U8909 and it departs from Chengdu at 1:55am and arrives in Auckland at 6:45pm (All are in local times of Chengdu and Auckland respectively, winter time).

Sichuan Airlines has been operating safely for nearly 28 years since its establishment. It has the largest Airbus fleet in China, over 120 planes covering more than 240 flight routes. Its route network, offering flight services to 23 million passengers annually, reaches Asia, Europe, Oceania, and North America. Sichuan Airlines has been awarded as the best airlines in Mainland China for three consecutive years. The inflight Sichuan food, rated as the best inflight meal in Mainland China, has received passengers' recognition.

Chengdu is the first city where the policy of 72-hour transit visa exemption for foreigners is adopted in the central and western regions of China.
