Capital Airlines to launch Lisbon-Beijing direct flight service on July 26

Capital Airlines will launch a non-stop service between Beijing and Lisbon starting on July 26, 2017. The 13-hour flight is serviced by an A330-200.

BEIJING - Capital Airlines will launch its Lisbon-Beijing route, the first direct service between China and Portugal, on July 26, 2017. The new service, a 13-hour flight that departs Beijing Capital International Airportevery Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and lands in Lisbon 13 hours later, provides travelers with a comfortable journey on a new Airbus A330 twin-aisle, wide-body aircraft. Upon landing, travelers can take in the unique slow-paced lifestyle of this Western European capital, known for its ceramic tile roads, old-style trolleys and sailing vessels, among other Old World charms.

Beijing, also as know as Peking, is the capital of the People's Republic of China and one of the most populous cities in the world. The city is the country's political, cultural and education center. Beijing is endowed with rare cultural heritage due to its long history. The Great Wall, one of the world wonders and the sole man-made architecture, which can be seen from space, extends several hundred miles in Beijing. The poetic and picturesque Summer Palace is the classic works of the feudal dynasty garden. The Forbidden City is the most splendid group of imperial palace in the world. The temple of heaven is the place of worship for emperors of various dynasties of China as well as a splendid achievement of the Chinese ancient architectural art. Each year thousands of visitors and tourists come to Beijing to enjoy and feel its unique culture and scenery.

Capital Airlines will launch a non-stop service between Beijing and Lisbon starting on July 26, 2017. The 13-hour flight is serviced by an A330-200, a new wide-body/twin-aisle aircraft made by Airbus. The A330-200 wide-body airliner features a spacious and comfortable passenger cabin layout, with 242 economy seats and 18 business seats. All business class seats recline flat to a full 180 degree position. Meal service features delicacies from Lisbon, enhancing the comfort of the journey. When most of China is at its most sweltering, Capital Airlines gives you an opportunity for a great escape to the city that was known as the capital of romance in the Middle Ages.

Capital Airlines in cooperation with Hainan Airlines can collect passengers originating from most cities in China, deliver them to Lisbon and then connect them to over 100 cities in Europe and South America, including Madrid, Porto, Sao Paulo, Lyon, Nantes, Toulouse and Brasilia.
