Propaganda India wins creative and digital communication mandate for Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority

In the coming months, there will be campaigns to uncover Andhra Pradesh and its offerings and make it one the most sought-after destinations in India and internationally.

BANGALORE – Propaganda India added another feather in its cap after a multi-agency pitch held to determine the brand strategy and creative partner for Andhra Pradesh Tourism. It has started its journey with the ‘Let’s Vizag’campaign for Andhra Pradesh that is currently on. A young, independent agency, Propaganda India has a strong strategic outlook, combined with a disruptive creative flair and a proven digital core that has built some of the known and upcoming brands in this country. The agency will be responsible for 360-degree-communication related activities for Andhra Pradesh.

There is so much to talk about and a story to be built in a State that is new, yet to be discovered and has very dynamic leadership. In the coming months, there will be campaigns to uncover Andhra Pradesh and its offerings and make it one the most sought-after destinations in India and internationally.

Commenting on the win, Priya Jayaraman, Co-Founder, Propaganda India said, “What made the winning deal was the approach to build a bouquet of destinations within Andhra Pradesh and an action-oriented campaign idea for Vizag called ‘Let’s Vizag’. AP is a challenger brand and we had to break out of passive branding. We decided to get travellers to act on what they saw. ‘Let’s Vizag’ saw the coming together of a jaw-dropping offer, offline-online integration, a time-bound activity and has made a new start to destination marketing in India.”

Himanshu Shukla, CEO, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority, said, “We are very delighted to have Propaganda India on board in taking our vision of Andhra Pradesh becoming one of the Top 3 destinations for tourism in India and internationally. Their passion for building this brand, a disruptive creative and solution-driven approach made the decision very easy for us. We are painting a picture for travellers about Andhra Pradesh and I believe they can capture the true essence of who we are to the world.”

Led by Venkatesh Nadhan (Venkx), Co-founder & Creative Director, Propaganda India has been working with leading brands and has among its clients Max Healthcare, Amazon India, HDFC Life, Max Life, ESPN India, Future Consumer Ltd., Simplilearn, redBus and more.
