Princess Yachts Southeast Asia hosts largest Princess ‘Rendezvous’ in its history

Held from 28th to 30th January 2017, Princess Yachts Phuket Rendezvous epitomises the perfect boating lifestyle – from beachside relaxation, frolicking in the ocean and cruises around the picturesque islands of Phuket.

SINGAPORE – Asia’s leading provider of luxury yachts and distributor of Princess Yachts, Boat Lagoon Yachting, has celebrated its exclusive annual Princess Yachts Phuket Rendezvouswith 20 Princess yachts and more than 100 guests – making it the largest ‘rendezvous’ in Princess Yachts Southeast Asia history.

Held from 28th to 30th January 2017, Princess Yachts Phuket Rendezvous epitomises the perfect boating lifestyle – from beachside relaxation, frolicking in the ocean and cruises around the picturesque islands of Phuket.

The event kicked off with a ‘Cruise and Beach Rendezvous’ party at the globally-renowned Cafe del Mar beach club on Kamala Beach. Princess Yachts guests – which included yacht owners, friends and family – enjoyed the unique experience of the Princess Raft-up and participated in various water sports including jet skiing, kayaking and paddle boarding while mingling and revelling in special cocktails and gourmet cuisine, with plenty of photo opportunities.

As the day turned into night, guests were led to Cafe del Mar’s very own restaurant and enjoyed a specially prepared dinner. This was followed by a welcome speech by Vrit Yongsakul, Group Managing Director of Princess Yachts Southeast Asia, and ended off with more evening entertainment for the guests.

Day two of the Rendezvous brought the entire Princess fleet to diving and snorkeling heaven – Similan Islands. While some went on to explore the beautiful island with friends and family upon arrival, other guests were immersed in an array of fun and exciting activities including a private diving course, personalised guided tour, and a relaxing massage aboard their own yacht or on the beach – all coupled with an amazing view of the ocean.

A spectacular sunrise on Similan Island greeted everyone the next day, as they geared up and cruised to Koh Miang Island, known for its large white powdered beaches and beautiful forests. Day three saw another expedition of fun and relaxation where guests lounged on giant inflatable floats at sea and enjoyed massages by the beach while revelling in cocktails and the cool sea breeze – marking the end of yet another successful Princess Rendezvous event.

“Princess Yachts Phuket Rendezvous is a major event for our Owners every year, and a wonderful opportunity for them to enjoy a day of exploration and relaxation,” Mr. Yongsakul said. “I am delighted to receive such positive responses from our guests and hear that they had a fantastic time with us. I look forward to welcoming more new faces and seeing old ones too next year.”
