ADB SAFEGATE showcases its airport performance expertise at inter airport South East Asia 2017

Offers integrated airport solutions across the Gate, Airfield and Tower to help the region's airports prepare for fast-paced growth.

ADB SAFEGATEwill showcase its integrated airport solutions at the upcoming inter airport South East Asia in Singapore from February 15 to 17. The exhibit will highlight how the company delivers efficient, safe, cost-effective and sustainable airport performance across the domains of Gate, Airfield, Tower and Services. With a presence of over 40 years and strong relationships with the region’s airports, ADB SAFEGATE seeks to further strengthen partnerships in Asia. Recent successes in Sri Lanka, China and Singapore bear testimony to the power of ADB SAFEGATE’s expertise in enabling integrated airport operations.

Economic development in the Asia Pacific region is growing at a much higher pace than the world average, and so is air traffic demand in the region, with more than 100 million new passengers projected to enter the market each year through 2035.

“Asia Pacific is the fastest growing aviation market, with tourism and business travel in South East Asia being a key driver. Airport infrastructure in this region must keep pace with these demands,” said Christian Onselaere, CEO, ADB SAFEGATE. “We offer one of the industry’s most extensive portfolios with integrated solutions across the key domains of airport operations. Together with our consultative approach, services and operational expertise, we can help the region’s airports address critical issues around capacity, performance, sustainability and safety.”

Singapore’s Changi Airport, the world’s sixth busiest airport for international traffic, recently picked ADB SAFEGATE to power its new runway with the company’s latest LED airfield lighting solutions. The airport has a long-standing partnership with ADB SAFEGATE spanning several decades.

Shanghai Pudong International Airport‘s relationship with ADB SAFEGATE dates back to 1996. Since then, the airport has recurrently relied on the company’s airfield lighting solutions during expansion projects. The latest contract involves the supply and installation of PVO guidance signs for the airport’s fourth and fifth runways.

ADB SAFEGATE is working with partners to better serve its airport customers as a key element of its Asia growth strategy. In partnership with JingHangAn China, the company will power South Asia’s first LED runway at Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport in Sri Lanka. With over 40 years of regional presence, ADB SAFEGATE has hundreds of references and is a key partner in the development of the region’s aviation industry.

ADB SAFEGATE will display its Power HF power management solution at the event. The company will also showcase how its complete portfolio, including the latest offerings in tower and apron management A-SMGCS, DMAN, Electronic Flight Strips, INFOMAX, Integrated Working Position (IHMI), Pushback Support Tool, and SafeControl Apron Management can enable airports to optimize capacity and improve airport performance through greater integration.
