Jin Air sponsored “Hello Pyeong Chang Test Events” resumes in February
Jin Air is to sponsor nine out of 25 test events held from November 25, 2016 to April 2017.
HONG KONG – Jin Air, the official sponsor of the "2016/2017 Hello Pyeong Chang Test Events" since its commencement last year, will resume test events this February.
The "2016/2017 Hello Pyeong Chang Test Events" are international competitions that are held as part of preliminary tests for the success of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics. Test events will be held for each event in the same locations as the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
Jin Air commenced their sponsorship with the FIS Snowboard World Cup for Big Air, which was the first test event for the 2016/2017 season, and Jin Air will continue to sponsor eight additional events from February 2017, including the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup, the FIS Snowboard World Cup, the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, and the Bobsleigh & Skeleton World Cup.
Through this sponsorship, Jin Air will gain various marketing rights through April for the duration of the events, and these include official sponsorship naming rights and sponsorship logo exposure in printed materials and promotional videos, etc.
Jin Air stated that "We decided against supporting sponsorship for the Hello Pyeong Chang Test Events at the end of last year and we hope this resumption will be a good chance to inspect the event facilities and operational capacity beforehand".
Jin Air has made various contributions towards developing the sports field in the past including the sponsorship of “Jin Air Green Wings”, its own e-sports organization since 2013.
