With Chinese New Year around the corner, global travel search engine Skyscanner looked into the 15 top-inbound searches to Singapore, to see which countries are interested in travelling to Singapore. The flight data revealed that the highest flight searches to Singapore for the Chinese New Year period are from South Korea, Australia and United Kingdom. Travel interest from Germany also brings them into the top 10.

Bangkok and Tokyo remain the top 2 destinations for travellers from Singapore this coming Chinese New Year. Japan remains to be a hot destination for Singapore travellers, with Tokyo registering a 62% growth in flight searches compared to last year.
The data also revealed that Yangon and Ho Chi Minh City saw the highest growth in travel interest compared to last year at 187% and 127% respectively.
