Qantas becomes first Australian airline to partner with Routehappy

Routehappys' content will assist Qantas’ travel industry partners in showcasing the airline’s full service experience.

SYDNEY & NEW YORK – In an Australian airline first, Qantas has announced a partnership with Routehappy, a technology platform that powers merchandising content for flight shopping, to provide Qantas with the ability to manage and distribute targeted rich content to travel industry partners via flight search results.

Routehappy Hub can be utilized by travel industry partners to display Qantas’ rich content as Universal Product Attributes (UPAs) that are highly targeted by aircraft, cabin, airport, route and fare. UPAs highlight relevant merchandising content including headlines, descriptions, photos, captions and videos, to customers while they shop. This content will assist Qantas’ travel industry partners in showcasing the airline’s full service experience.

Qantas Executive Manager Customer & Commercial Relationships Vanessa Hudson said Qantas was delighted to partner with Routehappy.

“Rich content brings to life the Qantas value proposition by showcasing our customer experience through imagery and tailored digital content, allowing our customers to make more informed purchasing decisions.

“This is about providing our travel industry partners with tools that simplify selling Qantas’ full service benefits, and with that in mind we anticipate that they’ll be early adopters of Routehappy,” she said.

Routehappy CEO Robert Albert said he was glad that the company could help Qantas articulate its key differentiators during the sales process.

“From PJs in Business to Sommeliers in the Sky the rich content delivered through Routehappy Hub demonstrates Qantas’ true value proposition by providing more than just a price point and schedule information during the flight search process.”
