EVA and Air India initiate code-share schedule

EVA Air now offers 24 flights a week to Bangkok and two daily to Singapore.

TAIPEI, Taiwan – Star Alliance members EVA Air and Air India initiated a new code-sharing schedule on Dec. 1, 2016. The carriers will use both airlines’ flight numbers on EVA-operated Taipei-Bangkok and Taipei-Singapore service and on Bangkok/Singapore to Mumbai connections flown by Air India.
 
EVA Air now offers 24 flights a week to Bangkok and two daily to Singapore. This frequency gives passengers a wide range of itinerary choices. Most of these flights allow convenient connections onward aboard Air India’s daily flights to Mumbai. With the code-share agreement between EVA Air and Air India, passenger can travel with one ticket and check their luggage all the way through from Taipei to Mumbai and vice versa.
 
Mumbai is the economic center of India and home of Bollywood movies. It is one of the most populous urban regions in the world and has a unique South Asian atmosphere. This cooperation provides more scheduling choices for travelers visiting the glamorous city.
 
Since joining Star Alliance in 2013, EVA has steadily added more passenger benefits and conveniences through cooperation with other member airlines. Together, Star Alliance members serve more than 1,300 destinations in more than 190 countries. In addition to Air India, EVA code-shares with Singapore Airlines, Thai Air, Air Canada, United Airlines, Avianca and 10 more airlines, extending routes and increasing frequency to give passengers seamless services to every corner of the world.
