HAIKOU, China – The 2016 China (Hainan) International Marine Tourism Fair (CIMTF) will be held on November 26 – 28 at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center.
CIMTF is hosted by the Hainan Tourism Development Commission, the Publicity & Education Centre of the State Oceanic Administration and Pacific Society of China; it is supported by the Chinese Society For Oceanography and the Department of Commerce of Hainan Province; it is organized by the Haikou Convention & Exhibition Bureau, the Pacific Society of China and Hainan Gonghao International Exhibition CO., LTD.
CIMTF has been developing into an international exhibition that features quality exhibitors, visitors, products, onsite brand-building events and O2O activities. The marketing platforms, professional exhibition displays and investment management are presenting a new style.
The exhibition has been improved. It has brought more international and domestic marine tourism destinations together to show the panorama of marine leisure sports style. Under the full support of the Hainan Tourism Development Committee, the Publicity & Education Center of State Oceanic Administration and the Pacific Society of China, CIMTF has invited more overseas professional buyers, foreign commerce and tourism management departments to visit.
More than 10 events will be specially created to meet the needs of different groups.
The 2016 China (Haikou) Marine Tourism Forum will be held. Participants can strengthen economic trade exchanges and cooperation, with the theme, “Sustainable development of marine tourism and the South China Sea model”. Meanwhile, the Government Negotiation & Key Enterprises Promotion Conference will promote the development of marine tourism.
Zhai Mo, the second spokesperson for the Hainan International Marine Tourism Fair, will make a speech about “Pacific Cup International Sailing Race” to share his ideas on marine tourism and understanding of navigation.
The Sea Lion Interaction Show, a 1,500m2 Outdoor Water Activities area, an On-site Surfing Experience and a VR Marine Theme Park will provide exhibitors with a unique experience about deep sea adventures.
CIMTF will enrich the diversity of activities during the Hainan Carnival, enhancing the role of the province in the “One Belt One Road” strategy, and promote the development of the marine tourism industry in the province.
