BANGKOK – Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas is pleased to announce that 11 hotels and resorts have been awarded in the 2016 Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. The prestigious US magazine announced the results of its 29 th annual awards in New York, which saw a selection of Anantara’s luxury properties recognised as amongst the very best in the world.
Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas was named #1 Resort in the Indian Ocean, and overall #2 Resort in the World, with Qasr al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara and Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort snagging the #2 and #3 Resorts in the Middle East – great achievements in these hugely popular destinations.

Amongst the accolades, six Anantara resorts were included in the Top Resorts in Asia category, including Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort at #6 and Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort Sri Lanka at #9, with both resorts also making the Best in the World Top 50 at #36 and #44 respectively. In addition Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel was awarded #17 for the Top Hotels in Southern Asia.
