Thailand: Most cultural, traditional and MICE events still go on with some adjustments

TAT assures you that the Thai people remain as warm and hospitable as ever, with cultural attractions and facilities for tourists all in place.

The Thai people are now in a period of remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and reminiscing the many things he achieved and worked for his people and the development of the nation throughout his 70-year-reign. By following in the footsteps of the King, the guidance of his Sufficiency Economy has been applied to the individual’s way of life.

TAT assures you that the Thai people remain as warm and hospitable as ever, with cultural attractions and facilities for tourists all in place. Furthermore, most cultural, traditional and MICE events will still go on with some adjustments for appropriateness. Otherwise, it is business as usual.

As a visitor to Thailand at this time, you can be a part of our historic moment to experience the Kingdom’s cultural traditions towards the love and respect to our beloved King. You can learn about his achievements, and visit his Royal Initiative Projects which have helped the people to thrive and preserve the richness of the country; such as, the Doi Tung Development Project in Chiang Rai; Royal Agricultural Station Ang Khang, Chiang Mai, and Chang Hua Man Royal Initiative Project, Prachuap Khiri Khan.

TAT would like to thank their friends from all over the world for standing by us during this period of time.
