The Ultimate Travelling Camp chosen the “Best Boutique Camp” by Outlook Traveller

TUTC’s nomadic super luxury camps in Thiksey and Diskit in Ladakh and Kohima in Nagaland offer immersive experiences that celebrate the culture, festivals, food, sports and indigenous identity of the region.

MUMBAI – The Ultimate Travelling Camp (TUTC) that has pioneered the concept of ‘Glamping’ in India with its mobile super luxury camps added yet another feather in its cap by winning The Outlook Traveller Boutique Hotel Award 2016 under the Best Boutique Camp category. This prestigious award was presented to Rajnish Sabharwal, COO, TUTC, in recognition of their endeavour to introduce travellers to the concept of camping in carefully selected exceptional locations across India, amidst the most premiere level of luxury. The award ceremony took place at Intercontinental, Chennai Mahabalipuram Resort which celebrated India’s best in travel and hospitality.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Rajnish Sabharwal, COO, TUTC said, “This is another fantastic feat for TUTC. TUTC’s nomadic super luxury camps in Thiksey and Diskit in Ladakh and Kohima in Nagaland not only introduces guests to  different adventures in the backdrop of mesmerizing landscapes but also offer immersive experiences that celebrate the culture, festivals, food, sports and indigenous identity of the region. The Chamba camps in Ladakh ensure patronage to various aspects of the Ladakhi and Buddhist way of life. Similarly, the camp at Kohima aims to revive, protect and preserve the richness and uniqueness of the 16 tribes native to Nagaland.
 
These camps provide travellers a landscape that is challenging, accommodation that is luxurious while still being respectful of the ecology and environment. Each camp is designed in such a way that it actively promotes green, eco-friendly, responsible tourism whilst providing local employment and stimulating the local economy.
