Le Royal Meridien Shanghai kicks off “Dressed Up 2016” and unveils extraordinary culinary journey

"Dressed Up" is a dining concept especially created for the Michelin Dining Experience series planned by the hotel, where evolves around the art of dressing and plating at the highest culinary levels.

SHANGHAI – From August to November 2016, Le Royal Meridien Shanghai presents the “Dressed Up 2016”, experience the latest dining concept that will take foodies on a spectacular gastronomic journey. The event will feature four international Michelin star chefs, teaming up with Chef Gianni Stargiotti from Favola Italian Restaurant and Chef Asu Liang from Allure French Restaurant of the hotel.
 
“Dressed Up” is a dining concept especially created for the Michelin Dining Experience series planned by the hotel, where evolves around the art of dressing and plating at the highest culinary levels. Guest can discover the last minute service at the tableside, dressings, sauces, cooking techniques and tips from the Michelin star chefs directly.
 
The event provides the unique dining experience, such as table side service and finishing touches on the dishes, theme related gifts, pre-dinner cocktails designed by the Michelin star chef for gala dinner. Exclusive VIP packages and suit packages are also available for guests who have special needs.
 

 
The debut of Chef Gleb Snegin from 22 to 28 August, teaming up with Chef Gianni Stargiotti, will bring a whole new selection of authentic Italian favourites that appeal to all senses.
 
Born in Russia, Gleb Snegin is a highly experienced chef specialising in Italian cuisine. He is currently the Chef de Cuisine at Sabatini Ristorante Italiano, the Royal Garden’s signature Italian restaurant, in Hong Kong. Prior to this, Chef Gleb had served in many famous Michelin-star restaurants, such as Michelin two-star Trussardi Alla Scala Restaurant in Milan; two-star Gambero Rosso in San Vincenzo;one-star La Fermata in Casatenovo and Joia in Milan, and he especially helped Terrazza Restaurant at Galaxy Macau earn a Michelin star in 2015. Chef Gleb takes great pride in presenting both authentic and truly innovative Italian dishes. He believes that flavours, colours and aromas combine to create a good dining experience.
 
Hailing from Massa Lombarda, Chef Gianni is the Head Chef of Favola Italian Restaurant at the hotel. He offers the purest flavours of authentic Italian food in an exquisite and chic setting. With deep familial roots in western Italian cuisines, Chef Gianni specialises in handmade pasta, wood oven-baked pizza, seafood and meats.

From 22 to 28 August 2016, guests can savour a unique set dinner menu. Gala dinner on 26 August and Brunch on 28 August.
 
Three VIP packages provides guests with added value such as VIP access to all 4 gala dinners, cooking class, and personalized chef jacket and signed by the Michelin star chefs and etc.
