Dream Cruises to host the first ‘China’s Got Talent’ – the dream experience on genting dream

The ‘China’s Got Talent’ – The Dream Experience is just one of the many exciting entertainment options that will be available onboard Genting Dream. Legendary Singaporean nightspot Zouk is renowned for hosting the edgiest parties in Asia, and it’s bringing its unforgettable parties to the sea for the first time.

SHANGHAI – Dream Cruises revealed on June 28 at a trade roadshow that guests onboard Genting Dream, the inaugural cruise ship from Dream Cruises, will be entertained and enthralled by a theatrical representation of the global TV phenomenon ‘China’s Got Talent’ as they cruise the seas. The Dream Experience will also be the first ‘China’s Got Talent’ show at sea.
 
Dream Cruises is Genting Hong Kong’s new cruise line, catering to the large and rapidly growing high-end market in China and Asia. The cruise line offers luxury, which is Asian at heart and international in spirit, delivering high levels of onboard guest service and spacious comfort. Genting Dream, currently undergoing fit-out at shipbuilders Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, will debut from her homeport of Guangzhou (Nansha) in November this year.

FremantleMedia with British entertainment company SYCO own the “Got Talent” rights around the world, while activeTV are the Emmy Award-winning producers who are responsible for producing the show with the experienced Entertainment team at Dream Cruises.

 
After the ceremony, roadshow guests enjoyed a spellbinding live performance by Jinlai Zhang, a young acrobat who has previously performed on ‘China’s Got Talent.’ He appeared to defy gravity as he performed his routine, titled ‘Spacewalk’, to inspiring music, amazing the audience with his strength and agility.

The ‘China’s Got Talent’ – The Dream Experience will be a 45 minute theatrical representation of the worldwide hit TV series held in the Zodiac Theatre, the cruise ship’s 999 seat state-of-the-art venue. An energetic, booming opening montage, complete with the same lighting, set design and theme music as the main China’s Got Talent show, will set the scene.
 
Casting for the performers will shortly take place throughout China, tapping into Genting Hong Kong’s vast experience in booking hundreds of acts for their cruise ships and entertainment venues around the world.

Guests onboard Genting Dream can dance to world class DJs day and night and enjoy a dazzling fireworks display at Zouk. Entertainment under the sea is also an option thanks to two state-of-the-art submersibles onboard with Dream Cruises.
