SINGAPORE – Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company (“Vietjet”) has announced the launch of a new domestic route from Da Nang to Hai Phong, with operations beginning on 1 June 2015.
Located to the East of the Hanoi Capital, Hai Phong is the third largest city of Vietnam and one of the most developed coastal cities in the country with many natural heritages and charming landscapes.
Passengers travelling from Singapore can now connect to Hai Phong from Da Nang or vice versa via Ho Chi Minh City where Vietjet offers daily flights to. With a flight duration of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, the schedule will see the airline depart Hai Phong at 11.25am (local time) and Da Nang at 1.20pm daily. From Singapore, Vietjet will depart Changi International Airport at 1.05pm (local time). The airline has also announced plans to increase the frequency of its Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City route from 30 May 2015.
Vietjet currently operates 150 flights per day with a fleet of 23 Airbus aircraft across 31 routes domestically and internationally.
