AirAsia clinches Gold at Putra Brand Awards for sixth consecutive year

Launched in 2010 by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) in association with the Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brands (MMVB), the Putra Brand Awards to recognize brand building as an integral business investment, measured by consumer preference.

KUALA LUMPUR – AirAsia, the World’s Best Low Cost Airline is Putra Brand Award’s Gold Recipient for the sixth consecutive year under the ‘Transportation, Travel & Tourism’ Category, marking its continued presence as the country and the region’s leading and largest low-cost carrier.

Aireen Omar, CEO of AirAsia Berhad received the award at the Putra Brand Awards 2015 ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur. “We are very proud to be the Gold Recipient for the ‘Transportation, Travel & Tourism’ Category for Putra Brand Awards once again, and would like to thank everyone who voted for AirAsia. We are committed to further grow our route network and make our brand presence stronger as we move from being just a low-cost carrier to being a value-carrier,” commented Aireen Omar at the awards ceremony. Putra Brand Awards is the premier brand awards in Malaysia and it is the only brand award of, by and for the brand managers and owners.
