JAL Group traffic forecast for 2015 Summer vacation in Japan

During this summer vacation, JAL will operate six extra flights between Tokyo (Narita) and Honolulu, two extra flights between Osaka (Kansai) and Honolulu, and two chartered flights between Narita and Honolulu as well.

JAL Group announced international and domestic passenger traffic forecast for the Japanese summer vacation that stretches ten days from August 7 to August 16 this year.
 
On international routes, there are currently 268,694 passenger bookings on JAL flights during this period, up 4.9% compared to the same period in previous year, while international capacity increased by 0.6%. This raised international booking factor 3.7 points to 89.8%.
 
On domestic routes, passenger bookings on JAL Group flights now stand at 923,597, 1.8% down than the same period last year, while domestic capacity down by 2.0%. The overall booking factor at present is 66.1% that is 0.1 point higher than last year.
 
During this summer vacation, JAL will operate six extra flights between Tokyo (Narita) and Honolulu, two extra flights between Osaka (Kansai) and Honolulu, and two chartered flights between Narita and Honolulu as well. Four extra flights will be operated between Tokyo (Haneda) and Sapporo (New Chitose), 14 extra flights between Okinawa (Naha) and Miyako, as well as 18 extra flights between Misawa and Sapporo (Okadama).
