SCDL Trade and International Manager, Jan Foletta said this visit is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the Sunshine Coast and Australia’s Nature Coast region to key travel representatives.

Attending Corroboree Europe was a great opportunity for the Sunshine Coast and allowed us to meet with over 300 travel agents from across the UK and Europe. As a bonus, hosting these visits will allow the agents to experience our region first hand.”

We know that our naturally refreshing environment is a perfect match with European and UK visitors as they enjoy our natural features of beaches, national parks and wildlife, and as part of this trip we are able to showcase the natural assets that we have on offer, along with the new products such as our recently launched Great Beach Drive.

Paul Mexson of Travelbag in the UK said, this visit kept him up to date with what the region can offer his clients.

I have not been to the Sunshine Coast for 10 years and this trip will allow me to explore areas that I have not previously seen such as Rainbow Beach, Mooloolaba and the Hinterland.”

This visit already reminds me of how relaxing Queensland is and will improve my selling skills by experiencing a diversity of Sunshine Coast tourism experiences.
