Outrigger Mauritius introduces new spa experiences

New spa journeys at The Navasana Spa at the Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort emphasise holistic health for adults and kids.

PHUKET, Thailand – The Navasana Spa at the Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort has introduced 10 new spa experiences. The 10 new ones complement an existing selection of massages and the Rhassoul Ritual in the spa’s majestic hammam. The concept of the new offerings is to encourage a flexible and holistic approach to wellbeing while on holiday, as opposed to mere pampering.

The 10 new menus include I Want to Feel Gorgeous (150 mins), Ultimate Detoxifying (300 mins), Pure Energy (240 mins), Fitness Experience (300 mins over 3 days), Holistic Experience (240 mins over 3 days), Serenity Relaxation (480 mins in 1 day), Perfect Silhouette (480 mins over 5 days), My Time (flexible), Yoga Safari (300 mins in the forest), and Kids’ Menu (20-45 mins, 7 options).

While we have pampering, which can be found around the world,” says the Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort Spa Manager, Sophie Lagane, “our bigger aim is wellbeing. That’s why we’ve introduced new options with the emphasis on spiritual and physical fitness, relaxation and improved metabolism while on holiday.

The Moroccan-influenced Rhassoul Ritual is ideal for preparing the skin for sun tanning and is therefore recommended at the start of the guest’s holiday.

In the Coral Kids Club, children aged 5-12 can choose new fun treatments such as Chocolate Wrap, French Look (manicure and pedicure), Change Me (nail polishing), and Mini Facial, among others.

The new adult menus give guests greater flexibility on spa options. For example, My Time is a pre-booked option that gives discounts of 15-30%.

The whole idea is to take a healthy, holistic approach and reinvigorate the guest while they are on holiday,” says Lagane.

The resort’s main restaurant, The Mercado, has a spa consultation desk open 7-10am daily where guests can find out more about the offerings at the Navasana Spa, which is open seven days 11.30 am to 8 pm.
