CLIA Australasia welcomes Virgin Australia as an executive partner

Virgin Australia’s General Manager Global Sales Shirley Field said membership was an important step for the airline, which services many cruise embarkation ports in Australasia.

Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia’s executive partner ranks have reached new heights with one of Australia’s largest airlines, Virgin Australia, joining the association this year.

In welcoming the airline as a new member, CLIA Australasia General Manager Brett Jardine said organisations from across the travel industry were realising the benefits of being a member of the cruise industry body.

A CLIA membership is a valuable asset at this time of growth in our region and we’re thrilled to be offering one of Australia’s largest airlines the support and knowledge it needs to get the most from our industry’s expansion,” Mr Jardine said.

Virgin Australia’s General Manager Global Sales Shirley Field said membership was an important step for the airline, which services many cruise embarkation ports in Australasia.

Like the cruise industry, Virgin Australia’s network extends across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands so it makes sense to foster greater coordination through CLIA Australasia,” Ms Field said.
