MANILA – trivago Philippines enables users to find their ideal hotels at the best prices by comparing information from hundreds of booking websites simultaneously.
The move to launch of a dedicated Philippine platform was fuelled by an increase in interest from Filipino travelers.
Haryati Afendy, a spokesperson for trivago in Asia Pacific says, “Visitors to all trivago sites from the Philippines increased by as much as 199% from 2012 to 2014. The United Nations World Travel Organization identified Filipinos as one of the fastest growing travel spenders in the world for 2013, and figures from trivago suggest a continuing trend. Our new site focuses on adapting to local preferences and facilitating affordable travel locally and internationally.”
