JEJU/HONG KONG – Genting Hong Kong Limited and Landing International Development Limited held a ceremony in Jeju, Korea to mark the opening of their joint-venture Genting Jeju Casino. Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Genting Hong Kong and Mr. Yang Zhihui, Chairman of Landing International were in attendance witnessing the historic launch of a world-class casino in the city.
Located in the 5-star Hyatt Regency Jeju Hotel, Genting Jeju Casino is owned by a joint venture in which Landing International and Genting HK each holds 50% equity interest, and is pursuant to one of the eight gaming licenses in Jeju under the Tourism Promotion Act.
