City taxi and cab services launched by YatraGenie.com for tier 2 cities

The new cab service comprises of a fleet of 100 cars and will bring respite to the residents of Nellore. 

NELLORE, India – YatraGenie, an online travel portal from Paxterra Software Solutions Pvt Ltd, has launched a cab service for the city of Nellore in Hyderabad, and is in the process of extending the initiative to a few more tier 2 cities in the coming months. The service was launched on January 10 and Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, the Union Minister for Urban Development, graced the ceremony in Nellore. In addition to Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, the launch event also saw the august presence of Nellore city Mayor Mr. Abdul Aziz; Nellore city MLA Mr. P. Anil Kumar Yadav; Nellore rural MLA Mr. Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy; Mr. N. Raja, Senior Vice President, Toyota; and Mr. Harsha Vardhan, Managing Director, Harsha Toyota.
 
While addressing the gathering, Sri Venkaiah Naidu appreciated the enterprise of Mr. Renil Komitla, CEO of YatraGenie cabs (Komitla Group), for his first baby step towards bringing a world-class travel experience to Nellore and creating employment for the people here. Welcoming the move, the Union Minister stated that the initiative was in line with the message from the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi who wants “India to be on par with the developed countries in the transportation segment”.
 
The new cab service comprises of a fleet of 100 cars and will bring respite to the residents of Nellore. Addressing the recent blips on security concerns raised, the company said YatraGenie cabs are fully equipped with GPRS/GPS location tracking services, panic button inclusive, in addition to complying with the security and transportation norms regulated by the government of India to ply cab services in the country.
