The South Beach in Singapore chooses Preferred Hotel Group as strategic brand partner

New-build luxury hotel scheduled to open in 2015 as a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

SINGAPORE – Preferred Hotel Group is proud to welcome The South Beach – one of Asia’s most highly anticipated new openings – into membership of its Preferred Hotels & Resorts brand. This addition increases the company’s growing portfolio and showcases the diversity of its curated collection of iconic hotels in the region.

The South Beach is a 654-room luxury hotel designed by Philippe Starck that harnesses both the latest  integrated technology and innovative design elements to create a unique hospitality experience dubbed H.I.P.(Highly Individualized Places & People). The brilliant architecture cleverly integrates the current heritage site formerly comprising three army blocks and the Non-Commissioned Officers Club with mixed-use eco-friendly buildings.

In addition to offering 605 rooms and 49 luxury suites, The South Beach allows guests to further customize their accommodation preferences by presenting exclusive Ladies’ Floors, which boasts additional security features and specially curated amenities and services just for women. Bringing nature closer to its guests, the hotel has cultivated two lush Sky Gardens, each with a stylish decked pool. The South Beach’s pillar-less enchanting ballroom and 19 meeting rooms will provide state-of-the-art facilities and equipment for any type of meeting or social event. The hotel will also offer an all-day dining restaurant and three vibrant themed bars within the premises.
