Strategic partnership launched to boost convention business in India and the Netherlands

The new partnership is formed between CIM-Global and the Global Industry Development Network (GIDN) around business development, grant writing, and conference management.

A strategic partnership was launched which will see more international association conferences visit India and the Netherlands over the next three years. Twenty two international associations joined in to celebrate the announcement as part of the IMEX America tradeshow, with the group being treated to a cocktail and limousine tour of the Las Vegas Strip and dinner at the Top of World restaurant at the Stratosphere.

The new partnership is formed between CIM-Global and the Global Industry Development Network (GIDN) around business development, grant writing, and conference management.

GIDN’s business development team across 16 countries will be engaging with international associations around the world to introduce them to their counterparts from India or the Netherlands. CIM-Global will be managing the conferences secured and GIDN will support with grant writing services.

Prasant Saha, Chairman of CIM-Global and Scott Campbell, Executive Director Tenders, announced the partnership at a dinner at the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas. Joining them were 25 international association leaders from around the world.

Prasant says “The work GIDN is doing to develop markets and drive association business to destinations is phenomenal. Most of our clients are active in one of the STEM fields and this initiative coincides with our view of the market and the way we work.

The partnership will expand CIM-Global’s sales team to all corners of the world, and will add benefits to GIDN’s 120 association clients it services each year by ensuring they receive high quality event management services for their conferences.

This new partnership will see more North American conferences going to the Netherlands and more European conferences going to India“ said Scott Campbell.
